Critical Reviews
"[A] wonderful . . . excellent novel, guaranteed to be a hit with DeMille's many fans." --Booklist
"The DeMilles kick the action into high gear early on and don't let up until they arrive at an exhilarating clash between a 60-robot contingent and terrified human forces. This is liable to keep readers up all night." --Publishers Weekly (starred review)
"The Tin Men is both a very urgent meditation on the future of warfare and a page-turning extravaganza of suspense and action. Nelson (rest in peace) and Alex DeMille have done it again!" --Harlan Coben
"Nelson and Alex DeMille's The Tin Men is an electrifying read and a chillingly timely one, both a master-class in suspense and a haunting exploration of the dangers and costs of a surrender to technology, an abandonment of the human." --Megan Abbott, New York Times bestselling author of The Turnout
"Robots may be the future of warfare in this final father-son DeMille collaboration. . . . plenty goes haywire in this enjoyable yarn. It feels a bit too believable for comfort, and that's to the DeMilles' credit as storytellers. . . . . Fast-moving and disturbingly plausible." --Kirkus Reviews
"Wow! The Tin Men is everything a thriller ought to be--smart, relentless, cinematic, unnervingly timely. A soldier is killed by a battle-trained robot--one that has begun to act on its own. The stakes rise fast and the questions cut deep. It's all delivered with the DeMilles' unique blend of intelligence, biting wit, and grand style." --Susan Isaacs, author of Compromising Positions and Bad, Bad Seymour Brown
