Attain enlightenment, prepare for the process of dying, and move through the stages of rebirth
Written by an ancient Buddhist teacher in the eighth century, the Tibetan Book of the Dead offers instructions on how to attain enlightenment, prepare for the process of dying, and move through the stages of rebirth. Translated from the Tibetan by American anthropologist W. Y. Evans-Wentz in 1927, this text offers remarkable insight into the ancient Buddhist teachings.
