Ginny Mahar, FMCHC, is a Le Cordon Bleu-trained chef with over two decades of experience as a food writer and cooking instructor. Her life and career took a sharp turn following a hypothyroidism diagnosis in 2011. In 2015, she launched Hypothyroid Chef, a hub for thyroid-friendly recipes and lifestyle content. In 2017, Ginny's commitment to wellness education deepened with the creation of THYROID30(R). This revolutionary program, designed to help thyroid patients optimize their health using a whole-food, whole-life approach was endorsed by experts such as Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Terry Wahls, and Dr. Anna Cabeca.
In 2021, Ginny expanded her expertise by becoming a functional medicine certified health coach (FMCHC), affiliated with the Institute for Functional Medicine, and accredited by the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching. She now leads The Thrivers Club, offering group health coaching and monthly wellness challenges based on the THYROID30(R) model.
