After retrieving a Philosopher's Stone from the Sage Alice and collecting three more from Shigeto, Yogiri and his growing entourage finally make plans to put the events of Ent behind them and head for the continent in the East. Despite further setbacks, they manage to find a way off the island with the aid of the self-proclaimed goddess Hiruko. But it's no easy task locating the next Sage on their list, and they discover that even getting into this new territory might be trickier than they first thought. Meanwhile, an ancient goddess awakens in the ruins of Ent's capital and swears to take revenge on the world that dared to imprison her by exterminating all life, one person at a time.
