"The story is fluid and purposeful. The author did a great job with the battle scenes, the relationship building, showing good vs evil so clearly, introducing fantasy creatures like dragons, satyrs, and elves! The magic elements were not overly done but just right to where it felt natural in that world. There was a slow burn (clean) light romance which was very much a subplot, with lots of banter.
