Jisell Novas-Hill is faith based author, who began writing poems about her experiences in life as she describes how faith in the Lord Jesus has inspired and transformed her life. In August 2016 she published the first volume of the book series "God is the Verb"; God is the Verb: The Lily of the Valley, in Spanish, which was circulated at the Dominican book fair in New York City organized by the Dominican Commissioner of Art in Culture in New York in October 2016. In April 2017 she participated with the circulation of the book in the Book Fair in the Bronx book fair organized by LACUCHE (The Latin American Cultural Heritage). In May 2017 she published the digital version in Spanish through Kindle, in addition to paperback English translation "God is the Verb: The Lily of the Valley". Jisell Novas-Hill earned a bachelor's degree in accounting at Monroe College in 2010, then completed a year of Theology at the Latin American Bible Institute the Synagogue in 2016 and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Nyack College - Seminary Graduate Schools in New York City. In May 2017 she was appointed as part of the executive board of LACUCHE (The Latin American Cultural Heritage). She is currently working on her next bilingual book Dios es el Verbo: El Arbol de Jese (God is the Verb: The Jesee Tree). Jisell Novas-Hill was born in Dominican Republic and resides in New York City; sheis a member of Jehova Shalom Church where she also serves as the general secretary. Jisell Novas-Hill is simply very grateful of God's grace over her life and gives all the glory to her Lord and Savior, Jesus.
