Vroom Vroom, a very sociable convertible car, was looking for new friends in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. He met Augie, a happy American alligator from the Great Swamp. Vroom Vroom started his new life far from his family and friends. Augie wanted to leave the Great Swamp. They were both nervous, but excited to try new things in new places. They encountered many new and different situations, which in some cases, were scary. But together, they did it and they became more confident! Vroom Vroom and Augie became great friends. They learned to trust each other and they cared for one another too. They had so much fun during their adventures in the Lowcountry. Friends forever! I'm Carmen Cucinotta, originally from Southern New Jersey now living in the Lowcountry of South Carolina. My hobbies include golf, playing the piano and occasionally singing Karaoke! I wanted to write this book to give young readers a fun experience with a talking convertible and an alligator who learns how to drive. Together, they form a lifelong bond of friendship and trust!
