What is Worth While?
What goals and principles should guide us through life's journey? In this inspirational 1893 work, Anna Robertson Brown Lindsay poses the vital question "What is Worthwhile?" to new graduates stepping into the world. With eloquence and wisdom, Lindsay leads readers through an exploration of values, ethics, and the essence of a life well lived.
Writing during a transitional time for American women, Lindsay herself earned a doctorate, achieving the first PhD awarded to a woman by Penn State. Drawing from her groundbreaking perspective, Lindsay prompts self-reflection on how we can live with purpose, compassion, and integrity.
Rather than preaching doctrine, Lindsay thoughtfully examines universal virtues like honesty, courage, humility, and patience. She inspires readers to nurture character, moral fiber, and meaningful bonds with others. Providing profound insights into the human condition, Lindsay's meditations on virtue transcend creed and background.
Breathing new relevance into this rediscovered 1893 work, "What is Worthwhile?" speaks to our contemporary search for meaning. Lindsay's timeless wisdom provides guidance to graduates and seekers from all walks of life exploring what matters most in our fleeting lives.

The Kybalion: A Study of The Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece
The Kybalion was first published in 1908. Purportedly based upon ancient Hermeticism, its philosophies, in conjunction with others, have become founding pillars within the New Thought movement of the early 1910s. The book early on makes the claim that it makes its appearance in one's life when the time is appropriate and includes axioms and insights similar to those found in the Book of Proverbs. The "Three Initiates" who authored The Kybalion chose to remain anonymous. As a result, a great deal of speculation has been made about who actually wrote the book. The most common proposal is that The Kybalion was authored by William Walker Atkinson, either alone or with others, such as Paul Foster Case and Elias Gewurz. -

Letter Tracing Workbook For Preschoolers And Toddlers: A Fun ABC Practice Workbook To Learn The Alphabet For Preschoolers And Kindergarten Kids! Lots
Are you looking for a fun workbook to help you teach your child to write? Then you are in the right place! Take your child on an exciting journey through the entire ABC with: Letter Tracing Workbook For Preschoolers And Toddlers: A Fun ABC Practice Workbook To Learn The Alphabet For Preschoolers And Kindergarten Kids! Lots Of Writing Practice And Letter Tracing For Ages 3-5Writing is one of the first skills children learn in school. The time of wild scribbling has come to an end, and suddenly, clear lines are to be formed into letters and words. However, this is not easy for everyone. While some children start off eagerly and soon develop a certain feeling for pencil guidance, others need a little more help and time to get there. It is perfectly normal that some letters are easier to translate than others. After all, an "I" is much simpler than "G" or an "M", for example. As your child learns with each letter - whether easy or challenging - he or she will gradually develop the skills needed to write even tricky letters with confidence.
The learning process must be lined with as many successes as possible to boost your child's motivation to learn. This book, therefore, proceeds step by step. The individual lower and upper case letters - from A to Z - are presented one after the other. Ideally, the next letter should be started when the previous one has already been memorized. For this reason, learning each letter is divided into three simple steps, which are clearly separated from each other.
- Tracing
- Every letter is a new territory for your child. The first step is to get to know the letter and practice through the correct pen guidance by simply tracing it. If your child is still struggling after the first pass, the process can easily be repeated with a new pen in a different color.
- Add Word
- This is followed by a word containing the letter you have just learned. So your child learns to put the letter in a word. Encourage your child to read the word aloud - this will directly practice the corresponding sound.
- Independent writing
- Finally, your child is ready to write the letters freely and without pre-drawn lines. Of course, auxiliary lines are provided to help you place the letter at the correct height.
Letter by letter, your child will be guided through the alphabet in a supportive and not overburdening way, always practicing to use the uppercase letters first, then followed by the lowercase letters. By looking at each letter three times, your child is confronted with a solid, reliable structure which they can follow at their own pace.
A quick look at the most important facts of the book:
- Suitable for school and pre-school children from ages 3 to 5
- Sensible structure that optimally accompanies the learning process
- Great preparation for pre-school and kindergarten
- A fun way to learn the printed letters from Aa to Zz
- Promotes correct pen management and concentration
