Damaged Like Us
Don't date your bodyguard.
It was the one rule he had to break. Maximoff Hale is a force of nature. A ship unwilling to be steered. Headstrong, resilient, and wholly responsible -- the twenty-two-year-old alpha billionaire can handle his unconventional life. By noon, lunch can turn into a mob of screaming fans. By two, his face is all over the internet. Born into one of the most famous families in the country, his celebrity status began at birth. He is certified American royalty. When he's assigned a new 24/7 bodyguard, he comes face-to-face with the worst case scenario: being attached to the tattooed, MMA-trained, Yale graduate who's known for "going rogue" in the security team -- and who fills 1/3 of Maximoff's sexual fantasies. Twenty-seven-year-old Farrow Keene has one job: protect Maximoff Hale. Flirting, dating, and hot sex falls far, far out of the boundary of his bodyguard duties and into "termination" territory. But when feelings surface, protecting the sexy-as-sin, stubborn celebrity becomes increasingly complicated. Together, boundaries blur, and being exposed could mean catastrophic consequences for both. -

Countering Islamophobia in Europe (2019)
The treatment of Muslims is the touchstone of contemporary European racism across its many nations and localities. We make a definitive case for two arguments in this book: firstly, the recognition of the accelerating and pervasive nature of Islamophobia in this region; and secondly, recognition that this process is being, can be, and will be challenged by counter-narratives that make the claim for Muslim humanity, plurality, space and justice.
This book draws on new evidence from eight national contexts to provide an innovative kit of counter-narratives, which were presented and well received at the European Parliament in September 2018, and subsequently launched across Europe in national workshops in selected states. A synergy between leading academic researchers and the Islamic Human Rights Commission, Countering Islamophobia in Europe will be of value to EU institutions, governments and policy-makers, NGOs and media organisations, as well as researchers of multiculturalism, Islam, Muslims and immigration.

King's Beast, Vol. 1
A smoldering tale of romance and revenge set in the world of the New York Times best seller Dawn of the Arcana! Ajin boys who show signs of special abilities are conscripted to serve in the imperial palace as beast-servants--status symbols and shields for their royal masters, to be kept or discarded on a whim. When they were children, Rangetsu's twin brother Sogetsu was ripped from her arms and sent to the palace to attend Prince Tenyou as a beast-servant, where he quickly fell victim to bloody dynastic intrigues. Now in a world that promises only bitterness, Rangetsu's one hope at avenging her brother is to disguise herself as a man and find a way into the palace! Prince Tenyou is not what Rangetsu expected, and the political currents in the palace run deep and strange. Does Rangetsu have any chance of finding justice for her brother, or will she become just another Ajin casualty in the game of kings? -
Migratory Birds
Winner of the PEN Translation Prize
"Pondering revolutionary Cuba, the Berlin Wall, and the caves of Cappadocia, these essays explore themes of memory, war, movement, and home."-The New Yorker
"A thoughtful, roving meditation on migration, language, and home."--Publishers Weekly
In her prize-winning debut, Mexican essayist Mariana Oliver trains her gaze on migration in its many forms, moving between real cities and other more inaccessible territories: language, memory, pain, desire, and the body. With an abiding curiosity and poetic ease, Oliver leads us through the underground city of Cappadocia, explores the vicissitudes of a Berlin marked by historical fracture, recalls a shocking childhood exodus, and recreates the intimacy of the spaces we inhabit. Blending criticism, reportage, and a travel writing all her own, Oliver presents a brilliant collection of essays that asks us what it means to leave the familiar behind and make the unfamiliar our own.

Bisquick Recipes
"Back when I was a kid visiting the grandparents on the farm, I seem to remember that Grandma always had a big box of Bisquick on the kitchen counter. It seemed like every time she went to make something, she grabbed for that box of Bisquick. I, on the other hand, appear to be limited in my ability to use Bisquick for anything other than pancakes. Do you have any suggestions?"
Of course I do, and I would be happy to offer them here. Bisquick is a staple in the kitchen, especially in rural areas and on homesteads. As a matter of fact, I always make sure I have 2 boxes in my pantry at all times; I use it quite a bit when I am in the kitchen too.
This cookbook is chock full of Bisquick recipes new and old. A few of my favorite happen to be Bisquick Cheeseburger Pie, Bisquick Sausage Quiche, Bisquick Streusel Coffee Cake, Dutch Apple Bisquick Bake, and Beer Cheese Bisquick Bites, just to name a few. I'm sure readers will find a wide variety of tasty treats to try their hand at, and I'm just as sure they'll be more than satisfied.
Bon Appetit,
Ann Sullivan

Fire in the Glass
London, 1914. Someone is draining the blood of the city's mediums. Lily Albright knows who's next.
The unacknowledged bastard daughter of the Earl of Torrington, Lily is haunted by visions of the future that she can never change. When she foresees the death of her closest friend, there's something familiar about the details. They're just like the circumstances of a series of recent murders.
If she can find the killer before he strikes, maybe this time she can finally thwart fate and save someone she loves.
As Lily's investigation takes her to a bedchamber where one of society's most desirable widows lies dead, she realizes she can't do this alone. She needs help from the reclusive Lord Strangford, a man haunted by his own unusual powers. To pursue the path of a monster, Lily must ask Strangford to face unimaginable horrors - and is compelled to reveal her darkest secrets to a man she has little reason to trust.
Somewhere in the city lies a murderer hell-bent on an unspeakable harvest, one that could reshape the future of the human race. To stop him, Lily must face a past rife with betrayal--and embrace the power she has spent her entire life trying to escape.
