Even if your classmates are a little bit... toothy.
About the Author
About the Author
Chelsea M. Campbell grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains a lot. And then rains some more. She finished her first novel when she was twelve, sent it out, and promptly got rejected. Since then she's written many more novels, earned a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek, become an obsessive knitter and fiber artist, and started a collection of glass grapes. Besides writing, studying ancient languages, and collecting useless objects, Chelsea is a pop-culture fangirl at heart and can often be found rewatching episodes of The Office, listening to her favorite podcasts, or dying a lot in Dark Souls.
Charlene Chua is the illustrator of several picture books, including Pinkie Promises by Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the Amy Wu book series, and Stonewall Book Award Winner Love, Violet. She is also the author-illustrator of Hug? When they are not making art, they enjoy cooking, reading, and playing with their cats. Charlene now lives with her husband (and cats!) in Hamilton, Ontario.

Praise for When You Go to Dragon School:
"Bright and humorous, this quick read-aloud makes for a fun discussion starter for little ones enrolling at new schools of their own. The conversational narrative creates a welcoming tone matched by warm and whimsical jewel-toned illustrations filled with round shapes and lines. ... Fluffy fun for youngsters fretting about starting school." --Kirkus ReviewsPraise for Love, Violet:
"The gentle, child-friendly romance at the heart of the story is a perfect celebration of courage and queerness, and earnest, awkward Violet is a protagonist every reader will root for." --Kirkus Reviews, starred review "Valentine's Day brings a shy child named Violet the chance to connect with her crush, Mira, in Sullivan Wild's uplifting wintry tale ... a race through the snow--choreographically captured with dancelike grace in Chua's simple, light-filled watercolors--brings the duo together at last, making the holiday one of joyful acceptance." --Publishers Weekly, starred review
