About the Author
Z.B. Asterplume is an author and illustrator of picture books who is frequently both distracted and inspired by the ghosts coming out of Heather Brockman Lee's teacups. She has knitted one small rectangle, using very fat needles, for her cat to sleep on; but aspires to knit a ghost with the help of this book. She is the illustrator of Rainbow Cookies written by Leslea Newman, and both the author and illustrator of Sometimes, A Tiger. She lives with her husband in Colorado, close but not quite close enough to Heather. Heather Brockman Lee is an illustrator and author of books for children, when she isn't being distracted by ghosts coming out of teacups. She has knitted lots of hats and scarves, but didn't know how to knit a ghost until this book. She is the illustrator of The City of Jasmine, When you Love a Book, A Poem Grows Inside You, and more. Heather lives in the shadow of the Colorado foothills with her family and two silly dogs.
