In 1978, Argentina is in the midst of the military's infamous "Dirty War." A junta has plunged the nation into its darkest days and its people into a vortex of fear and suspicion. Those who think differently or independently may leave their homes and never return; they are "disappeared." Then Came Morning follows two young men with little in common but their curiosity about the mysteries and omnipresent danger around them. Paul's modest and naïve life is restricted; Marco's life of privilege has ties to the ruling regime. Despite the clash of class and ideologies, their bond grows until one afternoon the unthinkable happens.
