Matthew K. Manning is the author of over one hundred books and equally as many comic books. Some of his favorite projects include the popular crossover Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Adventures and the 12-issue series Marvel Action: Avengers for IDW, Beware the Batman and The Batman Strikes! for DC Comics, the bestseller for DK Publishing Batman: A Visual History, Insight Edition's bestseller DC Comics: Anatomy of a Metahuman, and his recent releases Exploring Gotham City, Doctor Strange: The Book of the Vishanti, Batman: The Ultimate Guide, and Batman: The Multiverse of the Dark Knight. Manning lives in Asheville, North Carolina, with his wife, Dorothy, and their two children, Lilly and Gwen.
