Grayson Dyle has developed an uneasy truce with his newly discovered birth father, Catholic Bishop Thomas Brennen. When his father asks him to investigate a rogue priest holding cult-like services at Ruby Ray's Supper Club, he is reluctant to agree.

But then the club's Swing Girl is mysteriously murdered while dangling from her swing, and Ray's infamous Poona Ruby is stolen. When the police accuse his girlfriend, Kate Larson, of both crimes, Grayson has no choice but to uncover the secrets hidden at the Supper Club Church and clear her name.

He soon uncovers multiple double crosses and numerous suspects, including a Las Vegas mob boss, a washed-up motivational speaker, the rogue priest, and even his own girlfriend. As the body count increases, Grayson realizes he must find the killer before he becomes the next victim.
