Jen de Oliveira is a writer, cartoonist, and former elementary school teacher. She was the co-creator of Sunday Haha, a free weekly comics newsletter for kids. She's the author-illustrator of Reggie: Kid Penguin and Reggie: Penguin in Charge, that were both Junior Library Guild Standard books as well as on the TLA Little Mavericks list. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and cats.
