Jennifer Liberts grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Agoura, California. She has a BA in English Literature from California State University, and an MFA in Poetry from Columbia University. She has worked as a children's book editor, an English teacher, and an independent bookseller. She lives in Portland, Oregon, with her three book-loving children, and an orange cat named Chuck. Patrick Spaziante is an American comic book artist known for his work for Archie Comics, in particular his interior pencil and cover work for Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic X and Sonic Universe.
