Jennifer Roy is six minutes older than her twin sister, and one inch shorter. In addition to the Trading Faces series written with Julia, Jennifer is the author of the award-winning historical books Yellow Star and Jars of Hope. Maike Plenzke studied illustration at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences Department of Design. She currently lives in Berlin with her partner and their dog. In her studio full of plants, Maike loves to create colorful illustrations for book covers, magazines, comic books, and other exciting projects.
