Description

The fourth doodle-packed diary in the international best-selling series about the Norse god of tricks and mischief sent to Earth to learn how to be good

Loki made a fair few enemies during his time in Asgard. Too many to count and certainly too many to remember. When the elf Vinir beams Loki aboard his chariot and challenges him to a magical duel, Loki hasn't got a clue why. Sweet-talking his way out of a fight by pointing out there's little honor in dueling someone who can't remember how they wronged you, and even less in picking on a child, Loki is returned safely to school. That is, until Vinir shows up in child form, as resolute as ever about seeking that duel . . . and vengeance.

About the Author

Louie Stowell started her career writing carefully researched books about space, ancient Egypt, politics, and science, but eventually lapsed into just making stuff up. The author of the Kit the Wizard series, she was inspired by her research into Norse myths to write Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Being Good, which became a number-one UK bestseller, and its sequels, Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Taking the Blame and Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Ruling the World. Louie Stowell writes full-time in London, where she lives with her wife, Karen; their dog, Buffy; and a creepy puppet that is probably cursed.

Critical Reviews

With plenty of funny illustrations alongside a high-action story, Loki: A Bad God's Guide to Making Enemies is great for young readers who love comedy with their adventure tales.
