Hi! My name is Arlo, and I have an inseparable journal. My parents gave it to me and told me to write down my thoughts and feelings, and although it felt weird at first, I've decided to write down my recipes. Cooking makes me feel happy and relaxed, and now, so does writing.

Cooking is an adventure and there is so much to explore in the kitchen. There is always something to learn and something new to try. If I mess up the recipe, I can always start over or create something different with new ingredients. Sometimes I follow a recipe, and sometimes I don't. I love all the choices there are in the kitchen.

In life, it is the same. You have to explore, put yourself out there to create an authentic life. And that new flavor you discover can be unique and the most tasteful! No matter what life throws at you, you can always mix the ingredients up in a way you never thought was possible.

It's All in the Sauce: Bringing Your Uniqueness to the Table is a guided culinary journal that helps children on their journey of self-discovery by exploring their uniqueness both in the kitchen and in their lives in entertaining and creative ways. This journal has helped myself and my friends discover who we are, and we know it will help you as much as it helped us.
