Plucky Gon's quest to find his dad leads him into a whole world of crazy adventure.

Hunters dedicate their lives to tracking down treasures, magical beasts, and even other people. But such pursuits require a license, and less than one in a hundred thousand can pass the grueling qualification exam. Those who do pass earn the right to call themselves Hunters.

Gon and friends are settling into Greed Island and slowly beginning to understand the strange mechanics of this video game world. After searching for clues, they begin their first quest: drive a band of pirates out of town by beating them at intense sports. But to do so requires Gon and Killua to team up with an old foe. The risk might just be worth it--if Gon wins, he'll learn more about his father Ging!
