About the Author

Angela Dominguez was born in Mexico City and grew up in North Texas. She is also the author and illustrator of several books for children including the popular Stella Díaz series. She is a New York Times Bestseller, Sid Fleischman winner, and a two-time Pura Belpré Illustration Honoree. Gabby Torres is her debut into the world of comics and mischief. She now resides on the east coast with her boyfriend, Kyle, and their petite dog, Petunia. In her spare time, Angela can be found watching competitive cooking shows and dreaming about her next outdoor adventure.
