Dinosaurs are a common theme in books for little ones, but this lift-the-flap offering takes a fresh
approach, framing the story as a paleontology dig in search of the biggest creature. After a
spread of typical dino-dig tools, each featured dinosaur is introduced with a die-cut page offering
a peek of its fossilized skeleton beneath, followed by a vivid, colorful illustration of the dino in its
habitat. Some of the dinos have feathers, reflecting up-to-date scientific research, and a final
double gatefold reveals the biggest find of the day with cheerful triumph. A top choice for the
littlest dino fans, particularly those with parents nitpicky about accuracy.
