Description

Based on a true story, 'Animal's People' is set in the fictionalized Bhopal, the Indian city ripped apart by an industrial accident in 1984. When Elli Barber, a young American doctor, comes to town, she intends to set up a clinic to treat the lingering consequences of the dreadful event.

Critical Reviews

"Animal's People is raw, furious, and utterly compelling. Indra Sinha is a brave writer, and he's produced a novel of great power." -- Mohsin Hamid, author of The Reluctant Fundamentalist
