This is the cutest book!! This is such a well illustrated book for kiddo's who have fears, especially about Halloween. It follows the main character being afraid each month about upcoming Halloween events. Kiddo's will find it amusing as he tries to cancel Halloween by writing to Santa, the tooth fairy, and even the mayor! It shares a way by using a pumpkin to help light the way to help manage his fear and any other child who might be feeling the same way. There are also great tips at the end for how you can help children manage worry on Halloween for parents/teachers/school counselors. The illustrations definitely make this story just the cutest thing ever!!!

This is a beautifully illustrated story that helps young children find their inner courage to be brave during Halloween. Ms. Edwards captures real fears some young children face and provides a gentle reminder that while fear has a place, it doesn't have to stay hanging around. Young readers will enjoy learning how they can find their inner light and use the power of the mind to face whatever may seem scary.

This is a great book for any parent to read with their child to discuss any fear or anxiousness they might have surrounding the celebration of Halloween. The rhyming and illustrations make it a great read aloud. I love that there are tips at the end of the book to support parents and caretakers with helping their child cope with their anxiety. I highly recommend it!
