Once Upon a Broken Heart is the book you never want to end. It's both whimsical and wicked, and the chemistry between Jacks and Evangeline gave me actual butterflies. It's my favorite YA romantasy series, period. 
Emma Noyes writes books about love, magic, and mental health for both the young adult and adult genre. Her works have been published in over a dozen languages and include Guy’s Girl, How to Hide in Plain Sight, The Sunken City series, and The Soul of Shadow series. She was named a 2025 Forbes 30 Under 30. She now lives in Chicago with her Swedish husband and their accident-prone Pomeranian.

Monthly Book Club subscriptions renew on the 15th of each month. Quarterly subscriptions renew on the 15th every three months from your initial subscription month.
We will announce each month's selection on the 15th of the prior month. If you're not interested in a particular month's book selection, you have the option to skip that month's shipment and receive a gift card for the equivalent amount. If you'd like to opt for the gift card, you have until the 17th to let us know. Plus, if you swap your book for a gift card, you'll still have access to the subscribers-only content portal.
When you sign up for a Book Club subscription, our system will automatically cancel your membership, so you aren't paying double! Membership is a complimentary perk of any Book Club subscription.
For quarterly book club subscriptions, you will be billed every three months on the 15th for the next month's book pick. Depending on the month you sign up, you'll be on one of three cycles.
Cycle 1: You will receive the January, April, July, and October books.
Cycle 2: You will receive the February, May, August, and November books.
Cycle 3: You will receive the March, June, September, and December books.
