    Too Old for This by Samantha Downing

    My September book club pick is darkly funny, razor-sharp thriller TOO OLD FOR THIS by Samantha Downing. The book is about Lottie, a 75-year-old retiree who also just happens to be a notorious serial killer. When a young journalist begins digging into Lottie’s past, the killer must once again take things into her own hands before anyone can discover her true identity. Author Samantha Downing is known for her dark domestic thrillers, as her debut MY LOVELY WIFE is one of my favorite thrillers of all time. Her latest is just as much fun…super twisty, darkly funny, with a wicked smart antihero at the center that you will find yourself rooting for from start to finish. I had such a blast with this book, it’s for sure one of my favorite reading experiences of the year, and I hope you’ll all join along in reading TOO OLD FOR THIS along with the rest of us this month!

    The inaugural selection for Jordy's Book Club will arrive to your door in early January, regardless of when you place your order!

    Starting in January, you will be billed on a monthly basis on the 15th of each month, regardless of when you first sign up.

    We will announce each month’s selection on the 15th of the prior month. If you're not interested in a particular month's book selection, you have the option to skip that month's shipment and receive a gift card for the equivalent amount. If you'd like to opt for the gift card, you have until the 17th to let us know. Plus, if you swap your book for a gift card, you'll still have access to the subscribers-only content portal.

    When you sign up for a Book Club subscription, our system will automatically cancel your membership, so you aren’t paying double! Membership is a complimentary perk of any Book Club subscription.
