The Confidence Code for Girls: Taking Risks, Messing Up, & Becoming Your Amazingly Imperfect, Totally Powerful Self
New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestseller!
Girls can rule the world--all they need is confidence. This empowering, entertaining guide from the bestselling authors of The Confidence Code gives girls the essential yet elusive code to becoming bold, brave, and fearless.

Katty Kay and Claire Shipman use cutting-edge science and research, as well as proven methods of behavioral change, to reach girls just when they need it the most--the tween and teen years.
Plus don't miss Living the Confidence Code! Packed with photos, graphic novel strips, and engaging interviews, Living the Confidence Code proves that no matter who you are, or how old you are, nothing is out of reach when you decide to try.

Diastasis Recti: The Whole-Body Solution to Abdominal Weakness and Separation
Our abdominal muscles are rarely broken; rather, their weakness is a reflection of how little we use our entire body. Whether you have diastasis recti, a hernia, are postnatal, or simply have a very weak midsection--this is the definitive whole-body guide to restoring your core!
Abdominal muscles have many important jobs; twisting the spine safely, accommodating pregnancy, protecting your abdominal organs, and even breathing are just some of the jobs we want them to do well.
Many will try to fix their middle through crunches and other abdominal exercises without realizing that things like tight shoulder muscles, poor posture habits, and even our breathing patterns can be affecting what's going on in our abs. In Diastasis Recti, biomechanist Katy Bowman:
- Gives 30+ exercises, organized into Small, Medium, and Big Moves
- Expands the core to include essential parts, like the shoulders and pelvis (and how movement patterns here can worsen abdominal separations)
- Explains why it's better to think of a diastasis (abdominal hernias, or even weakness) as a symptom rather than as the problem
- Teaches 5 simple postural adjustments to change the forces on the front of the abdomen
- Notes that in addition to exercises, you can sit, stand, and walk for a stronger core
By making the material understandable, approachable, and achievable, Bowman offers an outstanding and necessary guide to diastasis recti and many other abdomen-related issues. Everyone can benefit from these insights and improve their health in an empowered and proactive way. --Foreword Reviews
Diastasis Recti is for anybody wanting to improve both the function and the appearance of their abdomen!

Calling My Spirit Back
Indigenous Peoples have always carried the knowledge necessary to heal. When our people heal, our families heal, our communities heal and our land will heal. You cannot have one without the other.
These stories are teachings, prophecy and protocols shared throughout the years by elders, language speakers, medicine people and helpers. They have been the foundation to individual healing and learning self-love. They teach us how to make good decisions for ourselves and for all other aspects in our lives.
When our people were young, they were sent on the land to gather as much experience and knowledge as they could, and when they returned, they would contribute what they learned.
I am Syilx and Secwepemc and although many of my teachings come from this place, they also intertwine with indigenous knowledge shared through ceremony from many other nations.
People from all backgrounds have embraced concepts from other parts of the world that promote self-love, healing and well-being through practices of discipline and meditation.
Very little has been shared about indigenous systems and how it promotes self-love and approach to healing.

Cook It Up: Bold Moves for Family Foods: A Cookbook
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER - 75 family favorites get leveled up to be even bolder, saucier, cheesier, and crisper thanks to Iron Chef Alex Guarnaschelli and her highly opinionated chef-in-training daughter Ava!
A FOOD NETWORK BEST COOKBOOK OF THE YEAR From the time she was old enough to hold a fork, Ava has been at Alex's side in the kitchen, whether eating lusciously cheesy gnocchi at Alex's New York City restaurant, Butter, or making classic French omelets with her famous Iron Chef mom. While Alex turns to treasured cookbooks for inspiration, Ava scrolls through TikTok--and now as a teenager, Ava is teaching Alex a thing or two. Through seventy-five witty and informative recipes, Alex and Ava share a repertoire of dishes that define their modern family meals: bold flavored, comforting, satisfying, and always supremely delicious. Side by side, they cook their way through family favorites like Blueberry Pie from Alex's mom, a legendary cookbook editor, and Nanny Ida's Crisp Potato Latkes. Tips and notes offer great cooking advice for achieving the fluffiest frittatas (add water, never milk) and how to season and mix meatballs so they always stay juicy (spread the mixture up around the sides of the bowl and then season). There's even a bonus recipe for dog biscuits, inspired by Alex and Ava's family dog, Leon! Cooking with authority is learned and earned in this smart and joyous cookbook that celebrates a mother-daughter bond that's stronger than the even the most garlicky garlic bread (the secret is--surprise--lots of shallots!). -
